Halloween

Two Fairies and a Nascar Driver

We had a very fun Halloween this year.  The kids were super enthusiastic and had a great time running from house to house.  They're still young enough to be entirely grateful for this treat-feasting holiday and don't have pre-set expectations about how much candy they need to collect, how long it needs to last, and so on.  I wish I'd had the video camera to capture their delight.

In the spirit of David Sedaris, asking for candy on Halloween is called trick-or-treating but asking for candy on any other night is called begging.  Our kids are old enough to fully appreciate this fact and were reveling in their candy-commanding empowerment.
