James (Frankie, dressed in a red shirt in honor of "James the Tank Engine") Offers Mom a Riddle

On the way to playschool this morning, Carol noticed Frankie just staring at the ceiling of the car. "What are you looking at, Frankie?", say asked.

"What's this?", he asked, pointing at the dome light.

"That's the dome light."

"What's a dome light?", he asked.

"Well, a dome light is a light on the ceiling inside a car or a truck."

Frankie thought about that for a few minutes during the drive to playschool. Then he said to Carol, "What has a dome light and a cow catcher?"

Carol answered, "a train engine?"

"Yes!", laughed Frankie. (Uh, I mean James.)
